What would you do if you were me?

If you want to keep growing as a person, learning new skills is a lifelong journey that never stops. If you want the world to completely run over you, then doing nothing is a great way to allow that to happen.
And don't forget to complain about it as loudly and aggressively as possible, and blame everyone, especially a political party or leader (local or national) because we all know how well this works out for you and those around you.

Thank you, but my environment is different from yours
The guy offered you some advice that transcends borders and cultures. Perhaps not every word of his post, but there were some gems in there. He owns this website btw. Self made as far as I know.... so.... somewhere out there exists a fortune cookie that when cracked open and the little piece of paper in it is read... it reads "Listen to those wiser than you."

Just breezing through this thread... it sounds to me like all you want to do is feel sorry for yourself. You best fix that bud, or you aren't going anywhere but lower. 90% of the game is attitude, regardless of circumstances. And make no mistake, I can sympathize with yours. But you asked for opinions. And that's mine.

Perhaps "feeling sorry for yourself" wasn't the best choice of words on my part.... "defeatist attitude" would be better. Same results in the end however.

Make some trouble. Speak out against your government. But not too much. Not enough to get arrested and tortured. Just enough to show up on their radar as a problem. Then seek political refugee status in the UK, or Canada, or Australia, or the USA.
Don't get him in trouble. Even this website is monitored.

Dam,Seattle too???

I heard Portland and Vancouver are also cesspools as well

I lived there for 14 years. Now I live in Texas.
I witnessed an incredibly beautiful city turn hideous
because of laxity on crime and thousands of meth heads
taking over the city.

Just Do Anything
other than trading.

That way, you will be guaranteed to earn some $$$$$.

Trading appears to be easy $$$ but
is the most difficult profession to master due to be
extensive and intensive
amount of effort needed to master the skill.

What would you do if you were me?

The following is the general situation of my life now. How should I get out of this predicament if you were me?
Sex: Male
Age: 42
Marriage: Divorced after being betrayed, currently alone, no children
Language: Chinese and a little English
House: None
Job: Trading U.S. stocks for a living
Certificate: None
Skills: relatively high cognition, able to see the essence of things (my own opinion)
Financial situation: I have a capital of 200,000 US dollars. From 2018 to now, I have made a profit of almost 200,000 US dollars. I have spent 100,000 US dollars on daily expenses, and now I have 300,000 US dollars.

Dilemma: 1. The stock market is not good now and I can’t make money, but I can’t find a job without skills (it’s hard for people over 35 years old in my country to find a job). Now I can only use the existing funds to maintain my life.
2 I am worried that in the future, my country will be prohibited from trading U.S. stocks, and it will even be prohibited to remit U.S. dollars to me or to other countries.
Was the profit of USD 200,000 before or after tax? And how much is the tax rate?

Solution to Dilemma 1: Continue trading stocks. If you can't make money anymore, then you need to re-examine your trading strategies. It's perhaps time for you to modify your existing trading strategies or create entirely new ones.

Solution to Dilemma 2: If you are truly worried about the possible capital control measures in the future, then you need to make plans now to either get out of the country or get your funds out of the country but I do see the possibility of China forbidding trading of US stocks is very low.

step 1 for me would be find a girlfriend. If you aren't busting daily then what's even the point of anything?

step 2: idk, move somewhere else when you cant trade US markets.

If I guessed correctly, the guy's living in China right now. Do you know what's the women:men ratio in China? It's 1:20!! It means for every single single woman, there are twenty men graveling and will do whatever possible to get into her pants because rape is punishable by death in China. And for you to just ask for a woman's hand in marriage, according to this Youtube video that I watched, the man must have three basic assets of a house, a car and savings and/or at least a six-figure salary. Missing one of these three basic assets, the woman's family won't even allow you to see her, let alone marriage which makes me very suspicious of the OP's story and his authenticity. If he's 42 and people in China usually marry in their 20's that means he would've been married in the early 2000s. How could he have been married if he didn't even have a house?

Something does not add up...
