Kastro 316: Given the power of the USA in terms of its nuclear capabilities, if Iran or even N. Korea did attack the USA with a nuke, would the USA launch a full blown nuclear attack?

SouthAmerica: You donât have to worry about North Korea attacking the USA or South Korea with nuclear weapons. That will never happen. Here is why:
If the North Koreans decide to use their nukes to destroy the US economy all they have to do is launch a nuclear bomb to land in the middle of Tokyo, Japan - and that would cause a massive meltdown in the global derivatives market â and we would have an economic meltdown in the United States and around the world.

The most likely scenerio, with Iran maybe Israel or USA removing the threat;
early.
Maybe a surgical strike , by USA or Israel , to'' leave no stone upon another '' to quote the bible as you say Ivanovich. Strange but true is Senator Clinton angry/combative about President Bush not acting fast enough to remove the threat.
