i think they will try banning shortselling. i remember a few years ago they did it in asia and the market popped. right or wrong why not here?

Fed and Treasury are going to give everyone an Etrade account with a $500 credit in it, and 1000:1 leverage. Bada Bing! Problem solved, the next bubble will begin to build, and we can do what we always do and forget about the underlying problems while we bid up dumb ass shit like soybeans and rough rice. Who needs to eat anyway, we're gonna be rich!!
Actually I agree with you, I was thinking the same thing, though I have butterflies in my stomach thinking about what all can happen tomorrow.
Possibilities:
1) Banning Naked Short-Selling
2) Re-enforcing the uptick rule
3) Fed Rate Cut (Possibly pre-market!)
4) AIG funding confirmation
5) GS earnings beating estimates by leaps and bounds.
6) Some news on LEH (wishful thinking on my part here.. not that I have anything to lose!!)
Will leave it to you guys to debate, discuss, bash etc etc etc from here on, going to bed early will need it tomorrow.
