he probably didn't live in the hole much. there was a house near it. he also had a few guys with him. he probably slept, etc. in the house and had his people look out for him. when something was up, he'd hide in the hole until his guys said it seemed safe to come back out.

The DNA testing by the military and CIA will only take 10 hours, and since this news came out at 5AM EST, I would assume that Saddam's identity will be confirmed or unconfirmed by the end of the day, Sunday.

But the real question remains . . .

What the hell is going on with Jack Bauer?
 
The war is over, Saddam is toppled and you were previously employed to be a double. Now, would you:

a) Still pretend to be his double and spend a majority of your time in holes under the ground.

b) Rip the moustache off, go home and call it a day.
