And he did what in the State Senate? I know many State Senators here, mostly Democrats, and I am utterly unimpressed as a whole.Quote from bigdavediode:
Actually I wrote his "state" Senate experience. You knew that this guy who has no experience was in the State Senate, right?
Not at all. I'm asking what experience he has that qualifies him to be President.Hmmm... so basically your argument is that if you take away all of Obama's experience he has no experience.
Well let's see, I'm not a McCain devotee but...since you're so high on "experience," you know that McCain has been in Congress for a very long time, while Obama has all of two years, right?.....I don't believe McCain has admitted to drug use or thrown his grandmother under the bus in a biography, so that probably detracts from his street cred....He flew jets, saw action in Vietnam, and was shot down. He was a POW for six years, underwent unimaginable torture, and refused to "confess" when doing so may have meant an early ticket home. Now, I know all of that doesn't compare at all to feeling uncomfortable at a party with some rich private school white kids in high school. That traumatic experience in itself qualifies Obama to command our armed forces, of course...that's just for starters.Okay, fair enough. Now let's look at McCain -- what experience would you say that he has that qualifies him for the presidency?
But hey, don't take my word for it. Biden himself said during the primaries that BO isn't ready to lead this country.
Biden: "I think he can be ready, but right now I don't think he is. The Presidency is not something that lends itself to on the job training."
Surely you trust the judgement of the Democrat VP nominee, don't you?
