since I'm not an American, could anyone tell me roughly , what could happen to markets if president will be democrat or republican. Or does it matter?

Too easy:

Republican says "If Dem wins, end of world."

Democrat says "If Rep wins, end of world."

Reality is, "what will Bernanke do? And, will Greenspan ever go away, LOL.

Long term it doesn't really matter. Market generally does good in election year.

Certain candidates are good for market because they want to eliminate cap gains tax, or at least continue the low rates.
