In the make believe worlkd of TV, liberal purity or PC considerations count for more than ratings. How else can you account for who the evening news anchors are? I don't single out Katie "Eva Braun" Couric, but she is certainly the best example, since she shows what a lie all their BS about "qualified journalists" is.

Given that the ratings for all the network news shows are in the toilet and sinking, don't you think if they really cared about ratings they would have taken a chance on a conservative anchor? Or maybe they just thought the fact that Rush dominates talk radio, O'Reilly dominates cable and Fox News has destroyed CNN and MSNBC is just an unlucky coincidence?

The Evangelicals have enough money to produce their own TV shows, and get them on the air, but if the ratings suck, they won't stay on.

The media is a free market, and Evangicals "entertainment" ideas don't sell.

Such contempt for other people's faith is exactly what's wrong with the fundamentalists, whether they're muslims or christians.

I cannot hold true to my own faith if I accept the validity of any other faith.

You're just narrowminded.

No one asks you to accept the validity of other faiths. You simply need to have empathy to other faiths - understand that others may hold their faiths in the same manner as you hold yours, and that you regard others in the same manner as you wish others regard yours. Simple and perfectly in agreement with what the Bible teaches you.

It's not a religion of acceptance, but it's supposed to be a religion of tolerance.

What has this to do with accepting other religious beliefs? And note that Christians are to accept such an invitation only as a means to propagate the Gospel.

Why are you ignoring parts of the Bible that doesn't support your claim?

I've corrected you once, and will correct you again.

Respecting others' religions does not mean that you accept their doctrines. It means that you have emphathy towards what they believe. It is strange that a self-proclaimed Christian does not understand what emphathy is.

You certainly cannot spread the Gospel if you hold nonbelievers in contempt!
