what was your aha moment when you first started trading?

So I remember the first time I blew my account. I thought I was incapable. Then, the “Aha” moment happened. Every new trader blows trading accounts once. lol
%%
I groUnd down an account to zero\ but i doubt if all are that dumb/LOL:D:D
AS far as an ''aha moment''; more like years of trends could add something........,........
Maybe old but not impaired \i dont need no rockin'chair\your Geritol or your Medicare. Jones+ Walls Can Fall album >3.5 million hits

My Aha moments were inversely proportional to the knowledge and success I had.

If you have no Aha moments anymore:
  • or you reached the perfect knowledge
  • or you realized that you have no knowledge at all and have to find another hobby
  • or you realize that each Aha moment is just a small improvement of what you had already, but is not the holy grail
  • or you realize that you should never say "Aha" as it has no impact on what you "achieved"
Based on my past experience with Aha moments, I decided not to use Aha anymore. Because after each Aha moment, my expectations were always bigger then what happened in reality.

I had many misconceptions about the market. I thought I would make money instantly. Even I left my job. Soon, I realised: it is not as easy as it looks.

Curious to hear yall's stories what clicked in your head that set you on a path to profitable trader from noob trader
when you went from " i donno wtf is going on in market now" to " ok this all makes sense now"
learning to read charts. Indicators, oscillators & the Fibs.

My Aha moment was when I realised I had almost blown my account to zero in the hope of recovering my losses. This impulsive trading was really expensive.

I'm still only using the demo account to practice. There, I had many aha moments as well as sad ones. I will update when I feel the one with a real account.
