What Was the Bullmarket Like?

Quote from Sysdomatic1:

5) CPIH running from 2 to 72 in two days.

This gets my vote for most incredible run. I remember it went from 2 to 11 the first day. Right around the market open the next day it was already trading up to the 70's. Those CEO's in China were kings for a day.

There was another Asian IPO (I forget the symbol) that opened around 100 and traded down to 70 I think. I bought a few hundred litterally within a few cents of the bottom. I sold them two dollars higher, only to watch the thing go $60 higher by the close.

Those were the days :(

Sure cheeks, if you can bring back the old bull market, I'll even throw in a few extra sluts.

I'll start buying with reckless abandon on the open.:D

Another classic was ADSP, that short burnt a ton of people, ran from like 2 to 52 in and around the '99 Thanksgiving weekend (I believe it was '99)

Or who can forget CMGI buying Raging Bull for something close to 100 million dollars? That's kind of funny in retrospect as well.

That would be RAZF.

Man, those were the days.

Do you know the feeling you get, when you're eating fillet mingion, sipping cristal, and snorting up a giant pile of blow - all while being fallated by three incredibly hot 18 year old sluts?

It was kind of like that.

You got it ...

Quote from big_jdez:

I remember buying 200 shares of an IPO and getting out with a quick 400 bucks only to see it continue to run 20 more points.
20 point moves happened daily.

Spreads on some stocks (SDLI comes to mind) were 243 x 245 at times.

It was sick.

I was not a prop trader then but I came to know of a guy making 100,000 a month trading only 600 lots. Another who made a million in FEB. 2000.

It was sick, and I missed it too!
I miss the good old time too:

The stock price of BRCM went up four times in five months. QCOM went up over twenty times in one year. CSCO split four times in 28 months.

:p :p :p
