What to do the rest of the day?

You can do similar to what I am doing ;

Trade the first 2 to 3 hours of the Asian session.

Trade the mid and end of the Asian session /
Trade the first 2 to 4 hours of the Eur session.

Trade the end of Eur session /
Trade the first 2 hours of the US session.

This way, you cover most of the actions around the whole world
yet maintaining our mind concentration in good condition.

I might be wrong, but total hours of your daily trading is 6 - 9 hours?

There was a period from 1999 - 2004 when I did this during my electronic Eurex/LIFFE interest rate prop day trading days. I had a very specific set-up I was looking for, and I would log off the screen at about 11:30 am US Central time and call it a day. If I stayed, it was just chop and the risk vs. reward became crap. I also traded very little during the last three weeks in December for the same reason.

If you are going to prop trade you want to take as much size as you could and I certainly did. When markets thinned out, it became a real obstacle.

I normally operate the first two hours after opening.
Then the market becomes slower, chaotic, without volume.
I would like to trade more but normally if I do I lose part of the earnings in the first two hours, so I stop trading until the next day.
Have you found something to trade that is profitable after the first two hours?
Any ideas?
