What to do about ESMA?

How do you guys deal w the ESMA reduction in leverage? Put up a bigger deposit or just move to a different broker outside EU...feel like if it's move to a different broker I might as well avoid any of the European CFD firms and just go offshore immediately.

I'm trying to figure out where to open an account and don't want to have to change once the rules kick in.

Maybe Dukascopy might be the right place for you ? Legitimate and reputable FX/ CFD broker in Switzerland (so no trouble with all that ESMA crap), they even have the Swiss Banking license. Very good platform, high enough leverage, low commissions. One of my favourites for spot FX trading.

Thanks! I am still learning about all the brokers so this helpful. Do they also offer crypto and indices?

Aren't they also under EU control? ESMA's regulations apply for the whole of EU, after all?
