What the rest of the world thinks...........

Quote from Humpy:

A man of the world and better not say from where exactly for fear of the torrent of abuse that may come forth.

Let's just say not from the USA although I have been there.

:D

P.S. You guys are sure easy to wind up a bit :)

I'm not wound up in the slightest. I just pointed out where you were wrong, that's all.

So, just to be clear, you'll come here to point out flaws in the US, but lack the courage to provide your country of origin. Glad we sorted all that out. You're just another forum muppet.

You mean neighbors? Or does your country add a "u"?

That's your excuse for being a pussy, the neighbors?

They actually do spell it that way. He's from the UK, I'm pretty sure (which makes the whole "we kicked out the socialists" thing pretty amusing).

And they don't call each other pussies. The word you want to use is "poof".

Quote from Humpy:

The US elections are coming soon. There is plenty of talk within America about the pluses and minuses of the 2 candidates - rightly so.

But not many inside the US system consider or care what the rest of the world thinks. The US has a huge effect on the rest of the world so it is not unreasonable for non US people to have an opinion.

Which candidate will do what, as regards the Middle East problems for instance. Romney has already publicly given the nod to an Israeli air strike on Iran's nuclear plants. Does the US have to have so many military bases around the world that it can't afford ? etc. etc.

Maybe there should be a class B vote, totally by foreigners as to who should be President and with what policies.

If there are any non US citizens reading this far - let's hear your views

Why would we EVER consider what the rest of the world thinks?

America and its fed govt belong to Americans, not illegal immigrants, not foreigners, not the UN. Your 'idea' is beyond foolish, it conveys a sense of entitlement I can't even begin to understand. Please let me know why you feel you should have a vote in a country you are not a citizen of?

Oh lordy what damage you guys have inflicted on to the English language ?

Did you lot have to mess with the spelling etc. after all it is OUR language not yours.

But no matter, you are still more or less intelligible.

:)

Humpy is from the UK huh? Their external debt to GDP ratio is almost 500% and growing. That is amusing he's telling us "they" kicked out the socialists. Were they not recently considering an emergency wealth tax? LOL

I drank late one night with some blokes from Liverpool. "Flange" is the slang word I learned from them.

"Humpy flange", it does kinda roll off the tongue.

Yeah, sorry about that, mate. We claimed the right to change the language when we sent you chaps packing in 1776. To the victor go the spoils, and all that. Sure you understand.

We probably should have instituted more grammatical changes as well after bailing you chaps out in the 40s, but we figured you lost enough at that point.

Why ?
Surely that is obvious when you consider how much the USA affects the Rest. There are approximately 20 times more people in the rest of the world. We aren't exactly invisible since we export more to you than you do to us.
We visit each other's countries in millions. The Rest aren't perfect but then nor are you.

A lot of toleration and good will is needed by all imho

BINGO!

I wonder how Humpy Dumpy would feel if I told him they should stop with all that royalty nonsense? I mean they are broke after all. Seems to me the King and Queen should live in small dingy flats like the commoners.

Could not agree more. But we don't exactly go over to UK forums and talk politics, telling you gents what you should be voting on.

Never have I "told" you what to vote. Just interested in what's going on around the globe.

You guys seem so besotted with just your own affairs. Look around there are others. Can't really see why you get so defensive and angry if anyone has a look-in or should we need a licence of some sort ?

Looks like you are about to make the same mistake as us and vote in the big spenders for a second term.
