Other than the baseless prattle you continue to spout, it is interesting that you refer to the population of the country you reside in with the derogatory term "japs." Not surprising that you are also a racist. It merely gives further indication of your pathetic character.

I believe that the Japanese are too polite to tell anyone on their face that they hate him/her or his/her race. At least that is my experience during my stay in Japan. As for loving the gaijins...

When I was in Europe about 2 decades ago and then about 10/12 years ago, I did not notice too much anti American feelings. French were always snobbish if you spoke to them in English. I would be the same, if someone came up to me and started asking my directions in French/Spanish here. However, once you broke the ice with some broken French, those people warmed up to you, at least that is what I feel.

During my recent trip to Europe this summer, there was a pronounced anti American feeling. It does not mean that they were cursing out where ever we went, but that is something I felt was displayed in subtle ways when I compared it to what I saw/heard/felt decades ago.

Just some personal beliefs and observations.

agree there's no anti-american nor anti-gaijin feeling in japan, nor in france etc, on a person-to-person basis. but the japanese do think and they're right, that you guys have precious little integrity / sense of ethics in yr commercial dealings for instance, that your foreign policy gesticulations are unnecessarily antagonistic etc... and totally laughable when after devastating the middle-east for the benefit of yr petro-military-arms dealer robber baron class for 50+ years, u jump on yr high horses about such & such development being unacceptable, immoral etc and attempt to muster international support... i know thats mostly for the Redneck Channel and hapaboy type audiences but doods... we understand realpolitiks outside of the US, plse spare us that!

now in terms of an international sympathy benchmark for the US, try to imagine how say the average American indian would feel if the guys who slaughtered his ancestors and trampled on his culture, his rights etc get nuked, just once... and you'll be close ;-)

You haven't lived there long enough, or are simply not catching the signals.

What you are seeing is the tatemae, or outer facade, which is indeed very polite. Eventually you will be able to note the honne, or true inner feelings. Possibly.

What Europeans who are sunk in the abyss of appeasment (despite their history) think about the US bothers me about as much as deciding which washing detergent to purchase.
