It looks like they also distribute capital gains on the long ETFs. This adds to the dividend for the total distribution. You can see the exact amounts here:

For DDM for example you see:
.36 for the normal dividiend which everyone is familiar with... The one you been getting every quarter...

Then you have for this qtr:
3.44 for short term capital gaines
and .11 for long term capital gaines
Bring the total to around: $3.91 total dividend this qtr

Also notice that you will take the price hit today but won't get credit for the distribution until 12/28.

QLD is around $5.07

DDM is around $3.92

SSO is around $3.65

im getting some nice dividends from these today.
