What software to complement IB??

I am a newbie to this board and Forex ( but not futures and stocks ) and am wondering what is the popular setup with IB.

I Selected IB for both Forex and Futures trading.
I currently use esignal for real time and backtesting.

Would like something cheaper than esignal that I can backtest on as I now only use end of day data. Also an auto execution platform would be nice to play with.

any ideas?

I use IB for trading and TradeStation securities (TS) for charting.
TS will do everything you mentioned and much more.
TS will cost you $100/mo, but you can wave it with minimal trading.
IB is much better as a broker, so if you trade with TS, I would keep it limited and simple.

There have been quite a few postings today on TS. I answered some of them. You can get additional insight from other members as well.
 
If you are happy with data provided by IB, than AmiBroker can chart and backtest them. So no eSignal subscription required anymore...
