Well is reversing a pardon a law or a tradition?

Bush reversed one of his before it was delivered, Trump has shown that he would given the chance just say unless its absolutely ironcast in law, just ignore it.

Biden should say very clearly that any dodgy pardons will simply be reversed in January. It's a terrible idea etc. but Trump would do it.

This would put a damper on his pardon party for corrupt acts aimed to seed discord and doubt.

From my hurried reading it says "the president" and Biden is the president soon. It follows in law that absolute powers to grant are symmetric.

Undone by the president? Has already been done.

It may simply be a long held belief. The same norms Trump has pissed all over for four years.
