I trade stocks mostly right now, swing trading not day trading. I make real good money doing it however I want to soon start day trading stocks and futures to keep me busy.
Forex also looks inviting.
When it comes to options I get scared and run away like a little boy, that stuff is confusing.
Why you want to move to daytrading ? more profit potential ?
What is your reason for migrating to futures ?

Why Forex over Futures or stocks ?
I trade stocks and ETFs. I have thought serioulsy about trying E-minis and forex but some reason I just stay with equities. I usually trade hourly charts but use shorter and longer time frames also. Now I have started trading Ultra Long and Ultra Short EFTs.

I day trade futures, and swing trade forex. In regards to futures I trade crude oil, natural gas, e-minis, the dax, 10 yr notes, and have been known to donate money to those who trade gold minis.
Better execution and leverage , maybe ?
