What Really Happened In Charlottesville

It doesn't matter if neo nazis are walking down the street saying ' i don't think niggers should be allowed to vote'. It's protected speech and if the gov't isn't going to do it's most basic function, then why do we have a gov't?

If masked, weaponized thugs are allowed by the gov't to use violence to shut down what is protected speech because they don't like it, then what do we have a gov't for?

I have zero hope that it's going any way but straight down hill from here.
 
The left has a problem with Trumps language in condemnation of the racial hate and violence. The problem they have is when he says, and others. No, no, no. We can't have that. Fine to point out the hate and violence of these Nazi nut cases, but then dare to include the violence and hate of BLM and the Soros funded commies, OMG, how dare he. You see, the racism, violence and hate of the left is just fine. Nothing to see there.

Not just the left. Conservatives and senior officials in his own cabinet. The CEO of Pfizer stepped down from his manufacturing task force.

Only the white supremacists and their apologists are happy with trump on this one.

Your whatsboutism argument only deflects the current issue at hand. Should Trump denounce these people or not? Daily Storm is saying they want more marches and demonstrations. Clearly they are embolden by Trump's non-committal response. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

They aren't emboldened by Trump's response. They are emboldened because of the media attention they are getting. In the past, when white supremacists held a rally, people looked at it with disgust, and the rally ended. End of story. No one went out of their way to give these jerks even a moment of air time.

Now, a huge political issue has been brought to light and the lunatics are only too glad to be put in the spot light.

This must be new. I think his advisors finally convinced him to be rational.

EDIT: It is new. Came out at 1pm, two days after his initial comments and White Supremacists were rejoicing. Daily Storm saying they will do more and bigger Charlottevilles. Other's saying how Trump loves them. Maybe this will temper this whole issue. Maybe it's too little too late.
