though i love conspiracies i am currently thinking
that the psychologic drama of all this finds a route to
clearing via conspiracy theories. and i am truly an
anti-republican by heart ...
Now you're beginning to see why the CTers here are so scorned. You are thinking logically in your analysis of both sides' points.
This is something the Cters don't do. They begin from a position of BELIEF first, and then fit evidence - by misqouting, ignoring countering evidence, and just outright horrible science that could be challenged by high school physics.
Have you noticed that in some of those youtube videos, the speaker says - 'this is the only way this could happen'? But when I watch it, I can think of workable alternetives on the spot. Does this happen to you as well?
Sorry, I have no videos to watch, because to tell the truth, putting in that much effort to counter lunatics' claims seems like a waste of time....
At any rate, I've found it better to read and think it through, it gives you a chance review at a pace that allows you to ponder and sbsorb both sides' arguements, and not miss any points. As far as judging whether or not they're serious, do like you said about the theologist, discount his opinion. You'll find that most of the papers supporting the conventional explanation have been written by people with qualifications in the area that they're writing about - engineers writing about engineering, and demolition experts writing about demolition. I don't think that the same can be said of the CTers - they'll have physics professors writing about engineering, etc.
Perhaps that's the reason CTers use youtube and Google videos, it's a good way to overwhelm the logical, thinking part of the brain, and is a good way to evoke an emotional response from a group of people that are already primed to believe that Bush and the Zionist Bankers, etc, are pure evil....
Maybe you can find a link to a video, I have no idea. And remember, videos can be edited too....
