Thats the conditioning we have received. its amazing that we somehow feel we need to let the govt steal our money. Govt collects so much revenue from so many sources and still the federal govt alone spends a trillion too much. When a govt spends trillions and the federal reserve passes out trillions a year... they have reduced money to a game a game which really does not need personal income taxes.
It has absolutely nothing to do with you being selfish. Stealing your earnings is wrong. And it is especially diabolical when the govt just prints more at will anyway. So they give to the needy and take from the hard working... when instead they could just print more... or spend less.
The inflation argument is no argument. We had massive inflation anyway.
The federal reserve has diluted the buying power of the dollar from a nickel for a beer to at least 5 bucks for a beer since world war 2. You think they really need to have a personal income tax? its really a cruel diabolical plan.
Collecting personal income taxes is just competition control by the cronies who earn enough to buy congress. It is brilliant message control and mind control. If you think about the system it is slavery. You work your ass off and they take half. If you manage to save a lot or earn a lot... they take close to half again. Then they tax your ass off every time you buy something. Now they are going to tax carbon... what is next air?
All this and personal income tax does little more than cover interest on the bonds. Interest a sovereign should need not pay anyway. if interest were at market rates it would take the entire personal income tax.
