big govt socialism and communism are the opposition to Christianity and other religions.
you can already see the gov't telling Catholics and other Christians they must provide abortifacients.


Socialism denies people of their natural property rights.
Most forms Socialism creates poverty.
Most forms of Socialism sinks all boats.
Liberty and the Capitalism that goes along with it lifted more people out of poverty than any system. Even China had to adopt it.

Man should choose to be giving. Govt should stay the heck out of our pockets so we have more to give to others.
Just think, if we had no personal income tax...
the economy would boom
we would have more jobs

If you want to get to the root of legalistic religious law, look no further than the 10 Commandments..... it's funny that the first 5 commandments and the crux of Jesus' answer above all relate to man's relationship with God foremost, the rest deal with social behaviors.

If you're only focusing on Jesus' teachings dealing with man's relationships to others you're missing the most important part.
