The wealthy vote for the tea party, because they don't want to pay higher taxes. As long as these scum can buy another car that sits in their garage collecting dust, for all they care the world can burn in hell. There has to be massive reform to discourage asset hoarding.

listen dumbass, paying taxes IS SHARING WEALTH. what else could it be. you and carebear47 are two vile, envious dbags who think the taxpayers should support anyone deemed unfortunate into perpetuity just because they were born. that is selfish. especially considering the poor here live better than most of the people in the rest of the world.

I read somewhere that north of 70% of homeless Americans are insane war vets. that IS sad, they're crazy and can't care for themselves and have no one looking out for them.. a disgrace really. but many of tthe poor are indignant, they live off taxpayers and have the nerve to demand more. i think you have never actually struggled or known anyone who is poor. in my experience most of them don't deserve anything and if they hit the lottery they wouldn't part with a penny, yet they demand others do it for them.

I think a social safety net is a good humane thing to have, just not at the federal level. It is irrefutable that if you allow people to vote who have no skin in the game, they are gonna vote for the candidate that promises them 'free' stuff. this will ruin the place, which is why the Constitution is important. It restricted the fed govt from being involved in (so-called) charity like this so it couldn't be exploited by politicians. which is exactly what's happening now.

Socialism denies people of their natural property rights.
Most forms Socialism creates poverty.
Most forms of Socialism sinks all boats.
Liberty and the Capitalism that goes along with it lifted more people out of poverty than any system. Even China had to adopt it.

Man should choose to be giving. Govt should stay the heck out of our pockets so we have more to give to others.
Just think, if we had no personal income tax...
the economy would boom
we would have more jobs
