What % of your P&L is going to commissions?

Thanks for our input, I usually start low and work my way up the the price I"M willing to get filled. I opened a paper trading account to mess around with the platform, I see smart but I am not seeing SMART max rebate? thanks
It's one of the preset settings--you have to go into global settings...it's not very intuitive to find it. Maybe order presets? I'll have a look when I'm on tomorrow and see if I can find it again.

I was wondering for those that trade 4 legged spreads on equity options, what percentage of your P&L is going to commissions. For me its about 20%, thanks

What do you mean 20%?

Probably your total(lifetime) PnL after tax is, for example, 800K and total win before tax is 1000K. Does this case explain your 20%?

If not, please give me an example.

PS) Of course this example is same as 400K (after commission and 1040 tax) and 500K too. (TaxRate=Tax/WinningBeforeTax)

For example if you made 100k in one year and you had 20k in commissions your PL would be 80k.
