What Obama's trade deal (likely) means for American jobs

yes... and if we had followed the structure the founders put in place we could have done battle longer.

The privately owned Fed Reserve, senators being elected by the people instead of the state legislatures and national income taxes and the code and the power to prevent the rise of new competitors ... were the beginning of the demise.
The founders didn't anticipate how very powerful some would become, nor did they anticipate the revolving door, which essentially negates the theory of separation of powers.

Anyway, I'm knocking off early for the weekend. Good fights, all. Have a great weekend.

It's a valid question. Republicans have won the white vote every election since 1964 I believe. Romney had a massive majority of the white vote but it wasn't sufficient to overcome the >100% vote for obama in inner city areas and fraudulent voting from illegals. If republicans can't turn out their base, they have no chance.

The party hacks actually think Jeb Bush will be a strong candidate that the base will turn out for. After all, they will tell us he is conservative. Just ignore the fact he has been a big and vocal supporter of amnesty and open immigration and is also a big supporter of Common Core.

I had been convinced by Ann Coulter's argument that we have to vote for people like Mitch McConnell because the alternative of letting democrats run things is too awful to contemplate. Well, we seem to have the worst of both worlds. They are too cowardly to confront obama, then turn around and screw us shamelessly on stuff like this trade deal.

When the debates start, they will be dick measuring over who can get us into the most pointless wars and do the most to restart the Cold War. Real vote getters there.

Sure they will try to scare us with Hillary, but given how cowardly they are and how dumb their loser consultants are, they are not going to take off the gloves and go after her any more than Romney went after obama.

House Majority leader Kevin McCarthy says trade bill going ahead "one way or another".

"House leaders typically have two legislative days to bring the bill up for reconsideration, but Mr. McCarthy said they can use procedural rules to delay it further."

The nation’s openly gay ambassadors and a State Department envoy say President Obama’s proposed trade agreements “will export our values of equality and tolerance,” and “promote greater justice beyond our borders.” In an op-ed at The Advocate.com, which also ran at White House.gov, the eight openly gay U.S. representatives abroad say “trade policy” is one of the “most promising tools” to advance the meme that the LGBT agenda is the agenda that expresses America’s “values.”
