I once foolishly spent a good deal of my time reading just about all the gibberish that Jack had written (at that point anyway) about his "method." I believe that to a beginning trader, once they finally sorted things out, his "methods" would sound rather logical, and a few of his observations and pronouncements might even be correct. Unfortunately the markets don't follow Jack's vision of them. And anyone who believes in and tries to follow the simple, gibberish cloaked, picture that Jack paints will soon be separated from their money. It would seem that Spyder may actually be a good trader, but if so it is because he is following his own method , not Jack's, possibly without even realizing it.

I don't mind Jack. I just skip his posts most of the time. I do read them once in a while for levity. Actually his posts somewhat remind me of religious tracts which, if approached uncritically can seem rational, but are actually nonsense.

My advice to those trying to learn trading would be to not waste time reading Jack's, or his disciples posts, until they have learned the basics and have had some success on their own. At that point his posts can be read with impunity and can serve the purpose of a humorous interlude to one's day.

Spyder tried to post a 40 lot trade after the fact once and got caught out on the time and entry, he is just as bad as Jack, he can't trade for shit, that's why he turns up to functions dressed like a bum and has to be escorted to the cloak room and be given decent shoes..

Seems trading is not the only problem he has with entries :p

I took a look at the other systems, although since the vendor didn't claim to be using the Hershey system with those, they are rather irrelevant to this thread. The first went up 120%, the second 600% before blowing up. I guess some kind of blow up control should be in place...
The 4th system doesn't look like an active one, it probably has an open trade and as the market moves, its performance fluctuates with it.

Now about the Spyder. As I said before it hasn't been around long enough, but as of today, it made more than 2 K after commission trading only 1 contract, in less than 3 weeks. The daily average ES wins went above 3 points, that is pretty damn good if he can keep it up.

The question is: Can others using the Hershey method make similar gains?? How about Jack, can he?
