What kinds of news/events move the Euro FX futures (6E)?

I've been dabbling in the euro fx futures and was looking for info on what would cause a violent spike in either direction as not to get blind sided being a newb and all.

For example a fed announcement would thin the book out and cause crazy whips on the ES, any particular times or dates I should expect something like that on the euro?

It's just that easy. :p

Next, review your EuroFX charts and forex calendars to correlate what specific events impact the most in comparison to others.

However, be aware that something that has a great impact today may have little impact the next time it appears or vice versa especially if the event is being hyped several days prior.

Don't forget to pay close attention to EuroFX opposite (inverted) buddy the U.S. Dollar and any events related to that. :D

The calendar on ff is really nice. Use this dates just as cornerstones but it's not for sure that price will spike on a "red" report. Be sure that you don't enter a position 10 min. before and after an event.
