Just a lot of volume is all I see. Certainly broke the morning downtrend's back. In the maybe category, perhaps a few days of pounding 1220 and not getting anywhere was enough...

PS I had a short sale order on XOM at 57.44 but I got spooked and canceled it. That would have hurt

Indexes broke out of a 1.5 day consolidation at the bottom of a 4 day channel. don't know what was the cause and don't care either. It was quite beautiful technically speaking
