What is your total profit for year 2006?

Down $560.00 YTD. Another sideways year making in four in a row +/- $1,000.00. Why do I even bother? If I can keep my promise to myself and stay away from day trading next year I'll do OK. X out day trading, and I'd be up nearly 10K. Woulda, coulda, shoulda!
Good news is, I'm up four figures at the craps table.:D And the view is better too.

Isn' t that typical american , talking
about dollars :D

Overhere in Europe we are more interested in %

78 % in 2006

Many guys here are in prop shops that require 10-25k but give you 50-100:1 margin. Therefore cash return means much more than percentages.

whats your trading style with that equity curve?
obviously not positions.

everyone is a winner here except me !
i always thought 98% of speculators lose ? it must be just me?

Dustin,

You don't need to be in a prop shop to
trade highly leveraged (futures).

And even taking leverage in consideration, % returns are more relevant because % is a relative measure
and $ are an absolute measure.

Looks like you started slowly but positively...
How was it when you first started?
