Soul. That is an interesting concept.

Does our "soul" actually live on after we die?

What is our soul? Is the electrical impulses in our brain? If that was true, the wires and machines we use would have a soul.

Is our soul actually our thoughts? Do they go on after there is no body to support them?

Do our souls combine? To make make one? There are a lot of people I really hope I do not combine with! YICK!

If there is a heaven, it would be awful crowded.

Thoughts are "taken with" when "die".

A thought system carves individuality out of one mind.

The return to the unity of heaven involves a letting go of the thought system that builds individuality.

That thought system is built on beliefs about one Self which reduce it to oneself...legion oneselves.

That thought system is adjusted as experience follows. The adjustments constitute a learning process which is also "taken with" to the next series of experiences with oneself.

So beliefs are taken with, but they are adjusted as experience forges a self-concept.

The soul can be thought of as a home to many self-concepts. As the concepts evolve, the soul "migrates"...learns.

Learning is taken with, both learning of a self-concept and the learning of Self.

In heaven, there is no learning, for all is known. Learning arose after knowledge was denied, to experience not-knowing. As learning was used to lead away from Self, it is used to lead back to Self. Likewise, there is no believing in heaven.

Life goes on, regardless of ones identity as Self, or a self-concept. The difference is that a self-concept is always changing, always believing, always learning.

Birth and death are merely changes for self-concepts.

Denial of Self manifests as forgetfulness. This is most obvious as the birth of another self-concept is oblivious to other self-concepts in it's immediate family of self-concepts.

Remembrance is a reversal of this process, and is used to accept Self.

Self exists now. Self-concepts are all in the past, remembering the past while anticipating a future.

The body is part of a self-concept that exists only in time, like a time machine. It is built on the power of belief, ie. "thoughts are things". It does not exist NOW.

Now there are no beliefs, just knowledge.

The thoughts that make up the world of time and the self-concepts that change in it...these are not real thoughts, and they will pass like a storm cloud. The Self is more like the everlasting blue sky behind the storm clouds. You cannot see Self while seeing only storm clouds, believing you are the clouds.

It is not the Self that you think of and say, "YICK!". That is a feeling about self-concepts. You will not find any such concepts in heaven.

Self-concepts are maintained by distancing one aspect of a unity from another. The method of distancing is a judgement process. Thus, judgement acts as a sword to maintain a comfortable distance between self-concepts that don't really like each other.

As words are put into my mouth, new self-concepts arise out of the confusion and fight each other.

I do not "bring" this. This is how the world works. Each self-concept is out to preserve itself at all cost by defending it's belief system.

There is one Self, to accept or reject.

Accepting, you do not need any kind of defense system.

Love needs no defense.

You do not believe the Bible is the word of God.

You quote the gnostic gospels (i.e. Gospel of Thomas) which was not written by Thomas - the gnostic gospels totally contradict the traditional gospels.

Bible says: 'God created you. God is creator, you are the created.' Gnostics say 'You are God, God is you.'

Same thinking that got the Devil in trouble - the Devil was so prideful that he thought he was on par with God.

But even the demons (the Devil's followers) believe in monothesim - there is only one God - everything else God created. Of course, they still refuse to obey God.

Thanks for pointing out that what passes for Christianity is not what I taught...that it is very much the opposite in many ways.

It seems to have something in common with the devils who believe in monotheism as you have defined it: "God created you. God is creator, you are the created."

It is devilish to look at a body and say, "God created you."

That is a lie.

You can however look past the body and see the Light that the body was made to cover.

You can look past the body and say, "God created you".

Those of us who refuse to identify with individualism and its symbols, ie. bodies, are able to look at what God created and say, "You are God, God is you".

This is because to see the Son is to see the Father. And that is because the Father has one Son who is equal to him in every way. That is His beloved creation...not this world.

You are confusing bodies with God's creation, and making the same mistake the devils make.

It is utterly arrogant to look at bodies and make them out to be creations of God. There is your pride. It's hallmark is smalldom with but one selling point: Own your own kingdom.

It is arrogant to make yourself out to be something other than how God created you.

Bodies? God made nothing of the sort. And to even look at them, or upon the stage they act on...this is blasphemy.

Why?

Because you could not see such things unless it was in your heart to change God's creation into something representing it's opposite.

And to see them still means you still want to tear God's creation into pieces.

How, then do you differ from the devils?

This does not change the fact that you are "gods"...as God created you.

In fact, it reinforces the fact that being gods, you are making your own kingdom and calling it "God's".

As a god, equal to your creator in all power, you are using it to make a kingdom of your own...all of time and space, all of change, all of bodies, all of death.

This is how you are using your power. Of course, as a god, you are free to do so.

But nothing of time or change has anything to do with your Creator's creation.

And you are at war with his creation while you yet see bodies slaving to time, and make up slanderous attributes and pin them on God just so you can maintain your grip on a kingdom of death.

There are not many gods. There is but one Son of God who appears as many. Appearing as many, he wars with himself only.

What you see with eyeballs is a battlefield inside the mind of the Son of God, long since abandoned.

Each minion still lingering and languishing on the field has the power to change his circumstances as he nurtures a willingness to receive Help.

And he will be restored to his inheritance as the Son of God that he is.

If you are so god like, why do you have to turn your PC on and type into a key board to get your message across?

Shouldn't you be able to just "think" and manifest your thoughts by "imprinting" your thoughts onto your readers monitor.

The fact is you are not god. Neither are you "god like".

Just because a Donkey breathes in oxygen like you do, does not allow you to illogically extrapolate a conclusion that the Donkey has the power to apply human logic. Because both you and the Donkey, have similar respiratory systems, does not mean the Donkey is now human and therefore has the ability to display human logical powers.

Similarly, just because you are able to conceive the concept of "right" and "wrong" does not mean you are a god.

The human soul does not terminate into a god consciousness as you are trying to allude to.

The supra consciousness you allude to is NOT God. Therefore you DO NOT terminate your reality into God.

The Supra consciousness is however one of the infinite qualities of the True God.

referring back to the Donkey-human analogy. Simply because you have consciousness, one of the infinite qualities of the True God, does NOT make you a god.

When you make a convoluted assertion as such, that is your vanity speaking. Whenever vanity is mixed with logic, the result will always be Illogic.

I will however tell you that the basic premise of your ideas is on the correct path.

unfortunately, you have deviated away from the path that would have led you to the correct conclusions.

We travel though a multi dimensional evolutionary process. Collecting experiences, knowledge and wisdom in each evolutionary cycle terminating into a existence of pure consciousness. The body of flesh is a vessel, as is the soul of light. The only true and permanent reality is consciousness. This does NOT however make each of us a god or god like.

A word of caution. The gnostic bibles are of suspect origin from suspect sources. Basing any logical premise on these works will always lead the reader into illogical and incorrect premises.

Also, the standard versions of the popular editions of the Bible leave out a few key facts. Jesus was indeed married to Mary Magdalene, a truth hidden by the jealous Peter who knew of the marriage. Jesus observed the sabbath on the last day of the week, Saturday. Never the first day of the week. Jesus always made a point to state that his father was the father of everyone as well. ie, his God was the God of everyone. These, along with a few other critical omissions have resulted in the unfortunate bastardization of the real teachings of the real Christ.

The key is to make sure everything is taken in context. Now in verse 34 you quoted, there is a little footnote denoted as [a] which refers back to psalm 82:6 - let's revisit Psalm 82 as a whole to get some context


God presides in the great assembly; he gives judgment among the 'gods.' How long will you defend the unjust and show partiality to the wicked? Defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked. 'They know nothing, they understand nothing. They walk about in darkness; all the foundations of the earth are shaken. I said, 'You are "gods" ; you are all sons of the Most High.' But you will die like mere men; you will fall like every other ruler." Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance. ~ Psalm 82, Holy Bible

'Gods' clearly refers to people in positions of power - and judgment is pronounced on them as the next verse says:

'But you will die like mere men, you will fall like every other ruler.'

Clearly 'Gods' is not refering to divinity but to the leaders and rulers of the world

Besides, if you take 'Gods' literally, then the last verse makes no sense: 'Rise up, O God, judge the earth, for all the nations are your inheritance.' If we are all Gods, how can God possibly judge himself?


Lastly, the Bible leaves no room for doubt - we are created by the most High God. We are the creation, God is the creator. Just like a blacksmith is higher than the sword he creates, God is higher than his creation (us).

"Then God said, 'Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground. So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." ~ Genesis 1:26-27, Holy Bible

This means that if I am the Son of God, then so are you.

But you are using your powers to make yourself out to be a man, to die like mere men.

Now you must twist scripture out of context to maintain death in your experience.

You make "gods" apply to earthly rulers...mere men.

If that is true, then I too am an earthly ruler...a mere man.

Where is the blasphemy in that?

But in context I emerge as the Son of God, making myself out to be God.

It was not considered blasphemy to think oneself an earthly ruler.

Why then do you take the passage I cited and make it mean earthly ruler?

My kingdom is not of this world.

And neither is yours.

Why then do you blaspheme by making yourself out to be a mere man who must die?

Rise, O God, from the dead!

When will you rise?

As sons of the Most High, we are free to make up stories about our origin. We are free to shapeshift, and make images in our imagination. We are free to identify with those images and confuse the hell out of ourselves.

We are free to think of ourselves as more than one...as "legion", just like the devils.

We are free to make some of us poor, and some of us rich. We are free to oppress some of us, and act unjustly toward others. We are free to make ourselves out to be different, to be male or female, to be weak or strong, "right" and "wrong". We are free to make ourselves rulers and subjects. We are free to make donkeys and asses of ourselves.

But none of this can change the way our Father made us...exactly like Himself...one...the same in every way...perfect...perfectly free, and perfectly equal.

As the story goes, it says Adam was put into a deep sleep.

It never says he woke up.

Hence, all of this is an insignificant dream made up by a sleeping mind.

When the mind awakens, the dream passes and is forgotten.

The symbol of awakening is resurrection from the dead.

For the dream seems to be of "life", but it is really a kind of death.

The question now is: When will you rise, O God?

When you will.
