What is your religion or lack therof?

Quote from pamjoey:

I am a christian ... You either serve God or Satan.

But your "God" is actually Satan !

Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, is the only True God !

Burn in Hell you infidel !

LOL :D

(you are joking right  )

Quote from ZZZzzzzzzz:

Your argument says, correct me if i am wrong, that simply the "desire for more" is sufficient to know God?

You are wrong, that's not what I said at all.

A hungry man seeks to find food, but the hunger itself is not sufficient in itself, effort to find the food is necessary.

People have the freedom to choose to believe whatever they want. They can believe that the limited intellect, and limited sense are all that there is, or they can believe there is more to life.

Personal choice.

What the atheists don't seem to understand, perhaps due to their stubbornness, is that you can use the sense and intellect to understand the nature of this limited world and limited material existence, and at the same time seek something more.

Granted the material senses and material intellect are for interacting with the material world, but some seek more than the material world, as they long for something that is not temporal, impermanent, and limited in nature.

So they seek using other tools available to human beings.

At every stage of human development, a person can say based on their limited experience, limited understanding, limited intellect, and limited sensory input...that what they observe and know as a result of limited instrumentation is all that there is.

History has demonstrated that such an approach is flawed.

The limited conclusions may be all that they know, but all that they know is not all that is knowable via human experience.

Your "concept" of god (in quotations becuase you really don't have a concept) is so fast and loose that you can't even discuss or describe it. You end up chasing your own tail .. round and round :D

If god is anything & everything you or "jim" or "dan" or "sue" wishes it to be then god is indescribable and undefinable. and as such a useless concept

"you really don't have a concept"

More rubbish.

Limitless, eternal, causeless, omnipresent are concepts...

Doh!

That you can't grasp these concepts is not my problem...

they are vague WORDS. they defy comprehension. try to conceive an infinite mass?!

Can an omnipotent god will itself into non-existence?

Obviously so, then atheists can be correct, and YOU wrong, at any given moment. :D

Quote from ZZZzzzzzzz:

I'm not a failed theist...you are.

I can speak from my own experiences, you speak from yours as a failed theist. You decided to believe in the doubt, your choice to give up on faith. Your choice to be a failure. Oh sure, you can play the sour grapes thingy, that is what the failed theists usually do. They simply cannot say "It didn't work for me, but maybe it works for them." Nope, nothing rational like that, just sour grapes, smug projection of intellectual superiority and bitterness toward those people who didn't fail with their faith.

Since I never tried to be an atheist, nor practiced atheism, I am not a failed atheist...

Doh!
I can only guess that your eyes are brown. Very, very brown.

If someone understands the concept of limits, temporal, spot existence, then most developed minds can understand unlimited, eternal, and omnipresent...by applying the concept of opposite values...

Not limited, not temporal, not spot existence, easy to understand...

However, you appear not to have a developed ability to think beyond limited senses and limited intellect.

God was never created, God cannot be destroyed, so God willing Himself out of existence is a non sequitur.

Your thinking is truly limited and bound by the constraints of material logic...

You can guess about irrelevant to the discussion things as much as you like, it reflects directly on the back of your flailing positions...

YOU have the ability to THINK beyond limited senses and limited intellect?? OOPS :D Your thinking is not bound by limits? OOPS :D "Thinking" (in the unlimited) is necessary to achieve knowledge of god OOPS :D If you are not limited then you must be UNlimited OOPS :D

You just contradicted yourself. What a joke.. amusing to watch you squirm.. chasing your tail and hopelessly mired in contradiction LOL :D
