What is your preference: Rich & Stressed or Average & Easy Money?

Anyone who has ever had substantial funds knows the answer.

Do you think that

COULD have anything to do with bringing stress into oneself?
Thus that substantial funds and stress are not really linked, but, stress is linked to
some "spiritual upsets".
I mean, if one start to believe their are "God", what is to stop them, if stress does not starts its work?

How about getting to the point of "rich" and then stop stressing? Why risk life or lifestyle once you're there? You can still do what you love, but can afford to do it at a low-stress level.

level 1 Rich/wealthy to me is creating a minimum of a million USDper year on a consistent basis--- Average is middle class of $80 to $250k per year.

And between $250k and 1 million? Daytrader?

I like the gif, how appropriate. And of course you can but people who are able to achieve such a balance in life do not get enough exposure so the general public(rich or poor) incorrectly overestimates the correlation between money and stress.

To have nothing and become rich requires an extraordinary amount of sacrifice and many times a life long commitment. Making such a sacrifice, year after year, causes a lot of imbalances in life. A loss of family, friends, morals, health, some even lose the sense of self. With every passing year down the rabbit hole it becomes increasingly difficult to bring balance back into your life or to even realize how much is enough as you become wired to think and act a certain way. So you keep spinning the wheel and thinking that if you only had more money your life will be better and failing to address the real issue that's causing you stress.

On the other hand, if you manage to catch yourself early enough while falling into the rabbit hole you might be able to balance out your work with your personal life and interests and simply sit back and laugh at people who correlate money and stress. You disappear into the night while the rest saturate the social circles and media outlets.

Yes, there is easy money if you are smart. Its not difficult to produce a middle class income with several hours of work a week. But u need to be bright and savvy. Read 4 hr work week. 10000's of folks are doing it.

Now if u want to get rich with lttle work, lots of luck and timing is needed on top of bright & savvy.

I think Ray Dalio subscribes to these ideas-- he is one of the good guys-- worth exploring. thanks!
