Trading to me is the biggest obstacle I have ever encountered in my life. I didn't even care about graduating university or any of the typical life milestones one normally goes through.
It is one of the biggest challenges and most intellectually stimulating game I have ever encountered. Humbled me quite a bit and always needing to adapt and improve.
It is the key to complete freedom. Trading is my life.

Trading to me is like trekking through risky woods. This gives me a nostalgic feeling with each trade I do. Learning through the past and looking for a more challenging way to beat volatility. This keeps my brain open throughout the day and helps to build an analytical mindset to interpret things fundamentally.
What makes trading so intellectually stimulating?
And that is what will take you a longer way here, good going mate.
It is a dream career, sort of.
Unlike my prior day job, I have no bosses, peers, subordinates, no subcontractors and no customers... Now I set my own schedule, no project deadline or budget to meet....
But, I was relevant in my prior career, today I am Mr. Irrelevant.
For me, trading is a path to financial freedom.
That's the basic motivation for all I suppose.
