What is this guy doing?

He has had an average account size of 150k for four years and his best ever month was late last year. It's probably capacity constrained as he keeps withdrawing to keep down to that level, but still...

Oh. I thought the 100percent return was compounded to $150k.

he could be an exceptional day trader. There are day traders who put up 200-300k consistently with non-scalable strategies. I didn’t know such a guy but my friend did. The guy was leasing a desk at the hedge fund he was working at. He would sweep out 100k every time he earned that much.

I have attended quite a few trading courses before.
Most of them had similar fantastic results.
Only those coaches who were professional traders didn't show
their results.

There are also thousands of trading coaches in this world who also
show outstanding results.
Larry Williams comes to mind.
The ones on fundseeder are usually from Ukr, Rus

Covid/boredom got me back in the game(retired a while back),and it's only been a year, but my numbers are very similar..

I think this will be a much tougher environment for the "inneficiencies/skew" trades exploited last year,so I am reluctant to speak with such a small sample size..

FWIW,I was short skew in mega cap names, along with sit strike flys..I also made 20 percent on pure option mispricing...

I can't reproduce the account curve here, but if you have a FS loging you can see it:

Constrained to a few hundred thousand?

He's living on the gains.

Shades of Bernie Madoff who claimed 77 straight trades without a single loss? Any idiot who claims they never have a losing trade is probably, the biggest liar out there. Everyone who trades will experience losses at some point, no matter how good the setup. This guy needs to be avoided, not followed. The dumb leading the dumb.

Well no: the drawdown will include losses on open positions.

Well it depends. If the calculation period is EOD (or even weekly/monthly) then basically all intraday fluctuations are excluded. Or is it at the every closed trades which may not enough either.

This was my original question that do you exactly know the method ?

Yes it's daily returns. So you are right, won't include intraday drawdowns. I wouldn't imagine they are very significant however.
