What is the ultimate evolution of a trader?

I'm not sure of your endevors now but you might think about going automated. Any of the strategies you mentioned can be done so. You just have to start from a different vantage point. Pull out some of the probability and statistics books and don't make things any harder than what it is.
 
The ultimate evolution is not trading at all and sitting in a wide variety of AAA investments and still making $10,000 a minute. I'd be happy on that day when I can know I won't have to be attached to the screens 24/7.
