What is the relationship between QQQQ and the MNX? What is the ratio?

It is easy to tell with SPY and the SPX, but not the QQQQ and MNX.

The MNX index has a price based on 1/10 the value of the NDX index, so, for example, if the NDX index is at 1400, the MNX will be 140.


Nasdaq-100 Index Tracking Stock QQQQ
The initial market value of QQQQ generally approximates 1/40 the value of the underlying Nasdaq-100 Index. So for example, if the NDX price level is 1400, the QQQQs generally would be expected to be priced around $35.

Also, QQQQ options are American style and MNX options are European style.

The key difference between American and European options relates to when the options can be exercised:

A European option may be exercised only at the expiry date of the option, i.e. at a single pre-defined point in time.
An American option on the other hand may be exercised at any time before the expiry date.
