For me it has been:

*trading wireless at Barnes and Nobles on that huge down day last Feb 2007...actually made good $$ on the buyback that day on the YM

*on a dial up (phone jack) internet connection

*with kids running around at home

*Actually, I was with a buddy in Mozambique, Africa in 2000...we were at the sloooooowest laptop internet connection ever...it was late in the afternoon, Africa time but market open in NY...he was buying AOL stocks at $165.00 a share!!!!!...the rest is history!

NOTE: Let's keep this clean and not rude, crude etc...and with total honesty...no, "I was re entrering earth's atmosphere and..."


Should you be trading from weird places? How about a nice desk and soft music and a glass of protein shake with strawberries and peaches nearby and few monitors to track all the markets?

exactly...sounds like you need a little 'real humor' like this post...relax, lighten up and just enjoy the post for what it is...interesting and fun...obviously no one is indicating this is the way to go etc...but...it has happened...so...reeeelllaaaaxxx...
 
Fishing just off the Great Barrier Reef (AUS). Tried to anyway. Phone kept cutting out. So solved all problems by getting really drunk. Fixes everything it does. Can't remember the rest.
 
In Melbourne at the Australian Open in Rod Laver Arena.

In a tent in the Queensland Rain Forest via Laptop and Palm Treo.

but these stuff was not serious trading, more just see what market does and small positions managing.
