What is the latest on minimizing sub penny prints

I thought the SEC was thinking of putting a crack down on the broker internalization where you see prints go off @ 3.0199 and 3.0185 etc

any word on this?

thanks

i hope so..i'm tired of this nonsense, where retail traders can't place subpenny orders and everybody else can..either allow us to do that or 2 decimal points for everybody. this subpenny stuff is total BS

About 2 years ago I traded for a firm that cleared through goldman. I remember their "SMART" router would fill you can .0199 and make you pay .25 / 100, when there is an EDGA order sitting at .02
