HUH?? As if if you know more that Genesis 1;1?? IN the beginning God [capital G] { prepared, formed +fashioned} and created the heavens + the earth...........................................Amplified Classic Bible [Period; I put some more periods for your clarity, G1/200 LOL]
When Jesus said the devil is a liar since the "beginning" he meant that from the word " beginning" in the Hebrew folklore literature everything after that was a lie. Actually the phrase "in the beginning" is a lie too so everything from the first sentence onward is a lie as if the book itself were the devil to which Jesus made a paternity correlation with those who most cultivated curated and promulgated its contents For example: anyone who traced their genealogy from it.
The reason is because in truth there is no beginning . That is, "in Christ" (in the reality of a Good god"s world ) there is no such thing as a beginning because Christ/Good is eternal.
So what the hell is this beginning?
Well the only world that begins is a world completely antithetical to the eternal nature of Christ/Good. What world would that be? How about a world completely lacking in truth? How about a made up world? How about a fake news world? Some of us call it "hell" while others of us call it "CNN" (pronounced "sin").
You see, the traditional Hebrew folklore is like propaganda in a war against the truth (by extension a war against Christ) the first casualty of war being the truth. In other words, for a false world to live a true world must die just as a false narrative lives only as the true narrative dies in a war of words. But a war of words is just a precursor to a hot war hence the truth is the "first casualty".
Now if you are willing to equate Christ with the truth then you must conclude that there is no beginning ever...for anything...except a lie. This is why I have told Stu that all history is a lie (not real) and therefore any stories about the "birth" of Christ (which has no beginning) are also propaganda especially the tracing of genealogy which Jesus vociferously condemned.
Meaning: all beginnings (including "birth") are a "lie"...and such beginnings can only "live" (have long legs) in a world completely lacking in truth.
When Jesus challenged the lies and the liars who lied them he was eventually silenced (put to death). However it's hard to keep a good message down and it will just keep resurrecting itself over and over again until the truth prevails.
This is why I have said the bible is for philosophical sophomores . It obscures the obvious and accepts cognitive dissonance as the norm.
The cognitive dissonance is symbolized by the "tree of the knowledge of both good and evil". Anyone who eats (believes in) the ability to mix opposites together will be psychologically poisoned and die.
The cognitive dissonance is most manifest in the propaganda that says what has no beginning (Christ) has now a beginning (a "birth")....and goes on to say that what is 100% Good is now also 100% "man" (a pseudonym for evil incarnate)....that Spirit has somehow transubstantiated into flesh. Indeed, this is rat poison for the mind and it's this cognitive dissonance that kills the body.
By "kills the body" I mean cognitive dissonance is the beginning of all CHANGE (death=change). Indeed it is because of cognitive dissonance that the body ("flesh") comes into appearance as something that exists (lives). But this is an "appearance" and not a reality. The flesh is in constant flux changing before our eyes and if change is death and visa versa then we are the "living dead" so-to-speak, "dead burying the dead".
If all death is change and all change is death then death and birth are the same thing: change. This is the epitome of cognitive dissonance which gives birth to a world with a "beginning"...and if you eat of its fruit you will keep changing (keep dying).
A world that begins must depend on the death of any world that has no beginning (Christ is Christ's entire world). If Christ is the original world then what the hell is this new world order?
So you see, the death of Jesus is just symbolic of a much bigger galactic battle...where one world is trying to establish dominance over the former...where an imposter is trying to impersonate the original condition/thing/Being. Hence what I've said about reverse pantheism.
Any world that begins must also have an end because such a world depends on constant change. Finally change will catch up to it changing change itself back to changelessness (Christ). What lives by change will also die by change.
Having understood all this, and having no cognitive dissonance in his mind, Jesus was able to toy with such concepts of birth and death and demonstrate that neither are real or permanent....or true.
Thus, philosophical seniors can easily cognize that the historicity of Jesus does not matter as much as understanding what the parable means. The parable is neither true nor false . The parable itself is not worthy of or even in need of belief. What is worthy is the understanding (knowledge) of how Jesus was able to toy (make child's play) of such profound concepts as death...and pain.
Indeed, Jesus felt no pain upon the cross. The cross is itself a parable that tells the story about the beginning of the bible world which begins with the death of the truth (the first casualty of war). His re-emergance from the "tomb" is a parable that tells us how the "beginning" ends.
