What is the best demo stock trading platform?

Well, since nobody has replied, paper and a pencil with Google Finance* works fine. Oh, he will need a calculator too.

If he would rather go paperless, TDAmeritrade has unlimited demo and Investopedia too.

*It has a Portfolio feature where one can put in prices with Buy/Sell, so I guess that would work too.

CNBC website -- free, available anywhere, *and* always has news. Nearly _nothing_ to learn. Takes 5 minutes to be up&running. I used it for several college classes, among students with no computer or econ/finance knowledge. A hoot to see the lights go on.....
