What is the best book on options trading?

Are you meant to read "Options as a Strategic Investment" cover to cover and master all the concepts in the book or just pick out the strategies relevant to your own trading?
If you are really serious about trading options, read it cover to cover, it will serve you well. It is more like a text book on options and covers almost every aspects of options including some popular strategies and their pros and cons... I did that a few times, plus I bought and used the book's Study Guide.

If you do not have time, just read the sections on basic options.

Good luck.

"Options as a Strategic Investment" is a great book because it explains tactics and strategies without math proofs or calculus. If you're up on your math skills I highly recommend Euan Sinclair's "Volatility Trading."
