What is so offensive about Megyn Kelly's blackface comments?

I would agree, it was a means to drop her. She did forget she was not on Fox for a moment where racism is stock and trade but that alone was not enough.

I am not an American. At first, I was surprised that Americans are offended by a matter-of-fact statement about face colour. After I dug out some American history about minstrel shows, I understood the uproar.

I will be offended if I am black American. Read about minstrel shows and you will understand what I mean.

We are currently living in a toxic environment of dangerous right wing rhetoric and guns that include assault weapons.

Ok. It’s me despite republicans control the entire federal government, the majority of governorships and state legislatures.

You would think the leadership in power has something to do with it but once again it can’t be the hate mongering and reckless policies coming from the right. It’s those damn deep staters and Jews who control them. Right?
