Machida was my favorite Karate guy...

GSP has a black belt in kyokushin karate as well and is arguably the goat. But we all know that TKD and karate are just no good on their own...great for mobility/flexibility and that is about it. Most of the MMA guys with karate backgrounds moved on past that to other disciplines.

I trained with some Japanese kyokushin guys in college (I was doing thai boxing and no gi JJ at a gym but we would meet once a week at school to mix it up)...those fuckers were fast and definitely no joke. only time I ever got KOd was from getting kneed to the top of the head by one of them when shooting for a double...viscous little dudes but I enjoyed training with them greatly.

Chuckie was into voodoo/religion...I am too, well not the voodoo part or am no longer. But I consider myself to be rather spiritual, and mystical.
I'll admit, my mind and personality is rather erratic and impatient and judgemental and short-tempered partially towards the general public, the sheep masses.
You become your work, and your work becomes you. Either knowingly, willingly -- or not knowingly, willingly. The two, eventually merge.

Chuckie, Michael Jordan, Yoda, and a Meme black woman...fits my personality collage.
Being a trader...really makes someone become desensitized, to humanity. You don't really experience joy, sadness, anger, and the range of normal emotions...you just feel neutral, flat, constantly.
