Don't we all start off with this love of freedom and turn round in our middle years feeling trapped? Craving 'things' and security can end up stiffling us and making us miserable. I love non materialistic women but they are rare creatures. When their ideals of love have faded they often start becoming possessive, resentful and grasping. Independent, free and creative women have never needed 'women's lib'. They know all political dogma is meaningless when it comes to self-fulfillment. Women artists/ writers/ performers are a case in point. Too often women turn sour as they age and lose their looks, especially if they have nothing but a bland domestic life. Too often women only have themselves to blame.

There is no universal philosophy that handles all cases. Human beings need to be as flexible as possible. When we are in combat, perhaps it is best to be like water:

This is even deeper than Bruce Lee may have even realized. Water can also change phase, it can be a liquid, solid, or gaseous depending on the environment in which it finds itself.

This leads to an interesting idea that perhaps there is no philosophy at all, otherwise known as pragmatism, that any system of thinking by its very nature is too constricting. This may be the reason why there are few if any women philosophers. I do not believe this, at least not at our current level of intellectual evolution. We must compress knowledge at some level, extract patterns, remember history. These all lead to philosophy.

In regards to Hitler, what philosophy do you propose if your situation is this?

As far as pre-teen girls, the competition for men amongst women is so intense the levels keep getting raised. Women are supremely evolved to know what works, and they keep up with fashion and fads because they know this is the way men think (not all men obviously, but women are targeting the average in their infinite pragmatism.)

If you wan to change the behavior of girls, change boys, and if you want to change the behavior of boys, change girls. A horrible feed back loop because if it is not done in concert, it doesn't work.

I will point out that every generation thinks the new generation is nuts. History eventually catches up to every one.

You're talking about sexual attraction. Women know all men want to diddle them. It is in their interest to find the best male they can. They have to attract with care and this is why women have traditionally been conservative (Oscar Wilde put it nicely when he said 'women are natural rebels, usually in wild rebellion against themselves!'). They are very selective. Girls with low self esteem and looking for attention are usually promiscuous. They are used by men. Always have been, always will.
Women also use men, of course. My point is that the media has sexualised women hugely and this gives women power. What is more of an aphrodisiac than power. Attractive girls love to have this affect on men because of the way it makes them feel. Men will never change fundamentally and nor will women. It's always been about power and women are gaining the upper hand: look at the consequences. Society is becoming shallow and immature. I don't balme women for being women. I blame cockroaches in the media who are willing to polute the social fabric with trashy ideals to sell media to an ever docile and credulous public. Men and women are losing respect for each other because of this. Image, sex, money and power and the shits in the background pulling the strings.

I still don't get it. Men want to "diddle" women, and well guess what, women want to "diddle" men too. These are all truisms. What is wrong with that? My gawd man, people always want to seem to make such a huge deal over what is a simple biological function that is universal on this entire planet! Thank gawd or most of us wouldn't exist!

Look, don't diddle women if you don't like it. It is funny, if a woman turns my head, I take pleasure in her beauty, boys will be boys type of thing.
