If the virus is over today its meaningless . The economic damage has been done . Minds and behaviors have changed . We had to print $6 trillion . The stock mkt at 3020 does not discount earnings down 15-25%.
The Virus was a tad worse that expected in the models I was looking at, maybe 2x's, but no where near the WHO's 3.8% mortality rate, more 0.08% area.
But yeah the damage is long lasting, the damage is definately not worth the few it's saved, definitely chopping off your own head to solve a toe problem
How did I trade decades ago?
I traded based on prediction.
I had a full time job. Trading was my part time job but I had all the intention to go full time.
Obviously I couldn't sit in front of the computer 24 x 7.
So during night time, I'd made prediction, enter order then hope it would turn up good. Obviously it wouldn't work!
You can't earn money based on prediction.
You have to glue your bum to the chair, your eyes to the computer screen 24 X 7
in order to earn tons of $$$$.

I 100% agree with that statement . We should have just accepted there would be deaths and continued on .Regardless of the virus we were due for a bear mkt . But in all honesty i'm doubting we even had a bear mkt now.
I suspect we'll get a bear market, won't be till businesses reopen then find the people they do work for aren't there or greatly reduced volume, then lay off more staff.
And also the staff that have been laid off won't be spending as much when the shops eventually reopen.
And everyone is used to Amazon ordering more so than ever before so high street shops that where struggling before hand have no chance.
Food shortages, Price hikes and famine for the poorer countrys.
Carrying on Regardless or pretty damn near would of worked fine.
Mate over this kept working, but they took away her £100 per month dinner allowance and reduced her wages by 20%, wasn't legal before C19 to do that, take the reduced deal or consider yourself sacked, bet there is a lot of that around to.
I agree it takes a long time to work threw the system which means the decline in mkt will be slow and prodding . People are so used to things bouncing right back . Were due for a long bear mkt were people hate stocks by the time its over. We've never seen that

How about rather predicting market evaluate what is good or even great price for stock.
I do and it works. Even if I mistaken and it goes down, I wait when it turns back and sell.
I did three great ones today which tjx and kss $$$$. Forth one I’m waiting till 2pm “wind”.

Missed cdc reducing thanks, obvious really.
WHO changed to positive, no second wave virus is dying quickly.
Hopefully 0.1% over all, NYC 0.15% already.
Sweden still looks identical on the charts so lockdowns minimal effect.
Might be a new bad flu strain that comes around every year or 2, hopefully just treat like the flu next time and some immunity so reduced cases, think 3 year cycle, rather than 3months so manageable.
