A CNBC commentator said the questioning in the live hearing is "embarrassing".

Hayward seems shocked by the amount of affront in the questions, but I don't think he is withholding useful information.
 
Congress-the epitome of self interest- acts as if BP willfully chose to create a disaster threatening the very sustainability of the company itself.

Thing that pushed the limits of decorum (and I turned off the tv after that) was that f*n Democratic redneck telling him that "in this country, a shakedown means ... I don't know if it means the same thing in England" crap!

Who was that asshole anyway?
 
Just now. The questioning is still going Nowhere (capital N), and a NY congressman gets on, and says "I'm going to try to ask again some of the questions asked by my colleagues ." Unbelievable.
