what is a douche bag ?

there were several instances i remember the term being used to describe naked1 and this one guy who kept blaming people who were shorting the us economy.

i've looked it up and the proper definition is :

actually douche bag does not exist.

douche is defined as "a small syringe with detachable nozzles; used for vaginal lavage and enemas"

so what is this douche bag mean. is it comparing a trader/investor to this bag where its used for a vaginal cleaning?
