What indicators do big-time professional futures traders use?

They trade more than equities. And they use indicators most of us don't have access to.

I don't know specifics. If I did I wouldn't post them on ET. However this looks like a reasonable example:

Supply chain analysis, hedge/risk management, options/derivatives pricing, risk/volatility forecasting, stuff like this. In other words, more than technical analysis. Depends on your definition of "big-time" of course. For scalping/HFT/daytrading maybe technical analysis is enough.

The really big money guys are not watching any bullshit wiggly-squiggly indicator lines.
They're more concerned about covering their tracks so as not to tip their hands too early.
In essence then, they're really trying to "paint" a nice picture for you hoping you'll take the chark...uh I mean chart bait.
