That is exactly right in my opinion with regard to both sides. And then it becomes a matter of whether the Congress will speak with one mind and follow the 20th Amendment. We have already seen that there is not just an up-side to divided government, but a downside as well. I am fast becoming of the opinion that I'd rather have unified government even if I don't agree with the results, so long as I have a chance to vote the bastards out after four years. At least something will get done, allowing us to evaluate the results. I much prefer that the Congress make the Laws, and the President carry them out, as opposed to Congress being inoperative and the President decreeing by executive order. I prefer that the Government run as anticipated by our Constitution.
FINALLY. Something we can both agree on. I agree with all of this 100%.
