My belief is that children are not safe around someone who expresses such high levels of intolerance and repressed anger in the manner you do.
Your bitterness is not something that is nutritional for children.
Given your closed minded approach to faith, based on your own failure and sour grapes response, I have no choice but to try to communicate with you on your own closed minded level of computerized mental constructs devoid of the full range of human experiences. I cannot talk about the positive experiences of faith that the majority of human beings enjoy, because you have no framework of understanding them based on your own personal failures and bitterness.
When it is suggested that your constructs have their foundation in tools that have limitations, are lacking verification apart from their own devices, it naturally places you on the defensive, and the logical trick is to attempt to deflect the criticism of senses and intellect by saying that I cannot use logic to question logic.
In your world, logic and senses and their relativistic nature must be accepted absolutely without question nor doubt, as if we should all behave like computers and simply process the data we receive just like a PC, never questioning if the PC itself is working properly.
It is your world, your reality, and I don't know you to be right or wrong ultimately, unless I am in possession of ultimate reality itself.
Your position is dogmatic, self righteous, and once again, not a position that I would want to subject young, innocent, open minded, faithful by nature, inquisitive, children to. I have no desire to crush their spirit, simply because of the failures I had in my life.
If you want to grind on the faithful due to your failure in faith, I guess that is your choice. Heaven help those who are subjected to it, in the same way that Heaven help those who are subjected to fundamentalist Christians.
Quote from stu:
With all your steam and hot air out the way, you only end up making an absurd, illogical, non argument for God, boiling down to a dried up mess consisting of three ingredients...
1. The Father
- You unthinkingly make an If___ then_____ conditional statement to say others are living in a world of If___ then ____ conditional statements. The sad part is, you hadn't even realized you had done so. (That one is a looooey

)
2. The Son
- You apply Faith which you say leads to truth of God and at the same time, you concede that Faith which leads to truth of No God.... is eqaully valid.
3. The Holy Moley
-
You continuously depend on reference to relativistic logic but state that it is a faulty instrument, although you have nothing else and are obliged to use relativistic logic in everything you think say and do (although in your case it is relativistic non-logic).
It seems you are unable to grasp the contradictory uselessness of thinking you can make your own statement "relativistic logic is faulty" and not realize that your own statement must therefore be faulty .
By your own conclusion, your statement that relativistic logic is faulty... must be faulty itself .
......and when brought to your attention , in a feeble attempt to overcome this nonsense, you call all argument circular. The only thing circular is your relativistic logic non-argument .
In answer to your question ...yes, I think it does mean you don't know your ABC's... nor your arse from your elbow.
As for teaching children their ABC's, my take from what you say is I don't think you are safe around children with your God non-logic. ABC is anything but ABC in your book.
