What If a Nuke Goes Off in America?

I was swing trading and fully invested when 9-11 hit.

I closed all my positions, and bought INVN, GE, BUD and other security type stocks. The BUD was because I figured people would NEED to drink. Got out of my hole within 2 months.

I dont know how much risk you take when in a position, but if an event like this doesnt wipe me out of the planet,,,,Only losing most of my equity would be a gift from GOD.....

in which case, i have to remind you of your post which i responded to:

If a nuke goes off in the USA, losing your money or not making should be the last thing on your mind...

why should not losing my money be the last thing on my mind? i would think it should be one of the very first things on my mind.
i'm quite sure nobody is gonna be giving me free food or paying my bills for me simply because a nuke went off somewhere... so i'd wanna make sure that my money is safe just so that i can live. that's pretty reasonable isn't it?
